Ike a Photographer?

In the beginning of the year we allowed Little Ike to tinker with a point and shoot camera. The results are amazing! Some photos turned out to be great and even artistic. And would you believe he is only 2 years old! He has an eye for photography. You go Boy!

I may be a scrapbooker but when it comes to card making it is definitely a challenge for me. After joining this month's challenge at The Mosy Scrapper I have finally developed my creativity in this area. Luckily, I won this months challenge. I can now proudly say that I am not card challenged anymore!

I am still down with the flu but I am feeling better now. Hopefully I can get back to work tomorrow.

By the way my son and husband surprised me with a birthday cake today. How sweet of them!

Birthday photos

The flu bug did not stop me from enjoying my birthday. As written earlier I went to my parents grave and treated my nephews and nieces and my sister for some homemade Tuna Pesto pasta and bbq.

Flu for My Birthday!

It's my birthday today and I'm nursing a flu! What a great way to celebrate a very special day. But hey this would not stop me from visiting my parents' grave. As a tradition we always visit the tombs of our loved one every November 1, All Saint's day.This is how I celebrate my Birthday year after year ever since I was a kid. My Birthday would not be complete without this. So later I will be visiting my parents at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish where my parents' ashes are buried. Then I will cook Tuna Pesto pasta and Bbq to treat my nephews, nieces and sisters. My body my be aching but who cares birthdays come only once a year.
