Happy New Year!

Better late than never! Happy New Year everyone! December had been a very hectic month for me.Not only because it was Christmas season but because my son's nanny to go on a vacation. I had to take care of my one year old on my own and that is in between going to work and doing household chores. I didn't even have time to check my emails or update my blog.

My son keeps on trying to get hold of the keyboard whenever I am in front of the laptop.He would not leave my side. So it was so hard for me to do the chores. But hey I enjoyed every minute of it! I was able to bond with my son. And watch his development. He can now do some gestures to help him communicate. He enjoys watching " My baby can talk" cd. He was able to pick some sign gestures like hat and sleep.

My Very First DT Job!

Oh my God! I am still in cloud 9. Will someone please pinch me just to be sure I am not dreaming.

A few weeks ago I tried my luck in applying for a DT position at Creatively Yours Sketches by Noella and guess what I got accepted! This is my very first DT job. I can't wait for my first assignment. And He Walked!

Finally, Ike can walk on his own 3 months after his birthday he can finally walk. He is not that confident yet because he still continues to hold our hand in going places. Actually he was already able to walk about 2 months ago but he got sick and this delayed his walking development. It took another 3 weeks before he started to try walking again. We are not rushing him because I would like to cherish this moment were he is still dependent on you. I love how it feels every time he takes my hands to guide him. Yes, it can be tiring but who cares he is my son and I love him so much. I don't want him to grow fast hehehehe. Here are some proofs that he can walk:

More Reasons to Celebrate

Yes...it is true my layout was featured in the November issue of Pagemaps. It was a wonderful birthday blessing for me. I've been dreaming of being featured in it for quite a while already and it came true on my birthday!

Another blessing is that I won 2nd runner-up in the resently concluded SK @9 Marathon. Wow...when it pours it really pours. To all those who congratulated and greeted me Thank you so much!!!

It's My Birthday

Well it's my birthday today. Yes, my birthday falls on All saint's Day. It is tradition here in the Philippines to visit our dead relatives in the cemetery and offer flowers and prayers. This year, I started the day by visiting my parents grave and offer prayers. Then my family and I went to the mall to by some stuff and eat out. My husband surprised me by filing a leave of absence. We are to celebrate three important events in our lives... our wedding anniversary (October 30), my birthday (today), and Gee's birthday (November 5). I wish I took my camera along and took some pictures. Thank you to all those who remembered my birthday and greeted me!
