Flu for My Birthday!
It's my birthday today and I'm nursing a flu! What a great way to celebrate a very special day. But hey this would not stop me from visiting my parents' grave. As a tradition we always visit the tombs of our loved one every November 1, All Saint's day. This is how I celebrate my Birthday year after year ever since I was a kid. My Birthday would not be complete without this. So later I will be visiting my parents at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish where my parents' ashes are buried. Then I will cook Tuna Pesto pasta and Bbq to treat my nephews, nieces and sisters. My body my be aching but who cares birthdays come only once a year.
By the way here are some photos of yesterday's trick or treating:
My Little Ball Player.
Spooky.

Methods Playground
This is my very first layout that I did for Methods Playground. And since it is a techniques challenge blog I decided to do tutorials on how I made my layouts to inspire the challengers in creating their wonderful layouts. So do drop by from time to time.
Here is a tutorial on how I created my take on my very first Methods Playground layout.
What I used:
-white cardstock
-distress inks
-water spray
-stamps
-craft sheet
-perfect pearls
-brush
I first smudged some distress inks on my craft sheet then sprayed water on it. I then placed the white cardstock on the ink and let the paper absorb the ink.
Here is how it looked like.
After drying the paper I then stamped images on my paper and applied perfect pearls to give it a shine. You can use any stamping techniques that you want.
And here is the finished product.

Outreach
My dear mother-in-law and dear husband visited Tadlak this morning to deliver some relief goods. This barangay is still under water because of Typhoon Ketsana. They had to relocate on top of the railroad were it is dry. Good thing is that the railroad is still idle since they stopped the train operation to Bicol. Gilfred took some photos that are very touching.
